My girlfriend is wanting to drop 15 lbs...what's the best thing for her to take? She is taking Lean System 7 right now, but isn't real pleased so far. What do you guys think would be the best? Just asking because I have no idea what would be appropriate for a girl from what this site carries.

Can you give more info? If she only wants to drop 15lbs I assume she isn't that overweight. Get us stats as far as age & weight. Also info on what kind of workout she is curently doing.

In general, what works for men, works for women. Ephedrine+caffeine is the first thing to try IMO.

She is about 23 yrs old, 5'4" , 130lb. I think she looks good, but she wants to be about 115 like she was a few years ago. I think she is just putting on a little weight b/c most girls do around that age. She eats good food and not too much. She works out on weights about 30min. 2x/week and cardio 45min. 2-3x/week. I tell her to just workout more, but she has gained weight by working out lately compared to last fall when she didn't do anything. She doesn't want to use anything with ephedra. Thanks

Well...I'm not going to go off on a rant about ephedra being safe...but if she's not comfortable taking it then so be it. First change I would tell her to make is drop the long cardio sessions. Instead of doing 45min 2-3x week, start doing a HIIT program (see link below for info). The max time you spend doing HIIT is usually 15 minutes. Starting off should be down around 5 until you adjust to it. If she's only hitting weights 2x week that needs to be bumped up. I'm sure she doesn't want to bulk or gain mass amounts of muscle, but she would be better off doing more lifting. I'm sure you can find some good routines if you search through the training forum. Alot of it comes down to how much time she's willing to spend in the gym. As far as diet...that's open to a billion suggestions. I imagine she's not going to want to get into taking protein MRPs or something similar. It's just important to remember it's not all about how much you eat. Most of the time you're better off eating more but spread out through the day (instead of 3 big meals eat 6 smaller ones). If she doesn't want to do any drastic changes to her routine for the time being, at least start the HIIT program. Give it a couple weeks and see how it goes. http://forums.bulknutrition.com/?showtopic=1416

Thanks for the advice. I'll let her know. Your are right about the meal replacements. I keep telling her that if she will eat some of my protein bars as snacks it will help, but she doesn't like the taste.

I am a 24 year old female in really good shape but for the last few years I have been on diet supplements all with epeherdra and now that it is outlawed to purchase I need a new diet pill that has the same effect as diet fuel with ephedra or stacker 3 with ephedra that is legal to purchase but that ACTUALLY WORKS. I don't care about jitters or any that headaches and such, you can get that from too much caffeine. I just want something that really works. I tried trim spa with ephedra before and that junk doesn't work and neither did Zantrex. I liked the way Stacker 3 and diet fuel with ephedra worked. I have really long days and they gave me alot of energy as well as kept me skinny. What is out there now that is similar to those two products? I have bought like 5 different kinds from the store and none of them work at all. I also tried taking just caffeine by itself but by itself it just gives me a huge headache and then I'm tired after awhile anyways plus it doesn't do very much for keeping weight off.

Some of the supplements that works great for me are sesathin and trandermal 7-OXO. I think you need really high dose for 7-OXO to work orally. I heard at least 200 mg to see the difference. I might wrong about the amount. You should read Dave's article for 7-OXO. I have been taking sesathin for awhile now, and I must say it is very effective for fat loss. It is subtle, but effective. One thing, though. She might wanna ditch the scale since she might have gained some muscle, but not fat. If you got caliper, check her bf %, and go with change in lean muscle mass and fat mass. It is really hard for many women to get buff. Most of the time muscle mass gain will give them that sexy lean look. I would buy ephedra free version of diet fuel/stacker and stack with Ephedrine HCI. Ephedra was banned, but ephedrine is not. You will get pretty much the same as thier old ephedra coutner parts. Or, you can buy each ingrents separtely adn mix them exactly what it said on the lable of your favorite fat burner. This will give you more option. I think some ingrients on bulk might be hard to find, though.
