[PRODUCT]784[/PRODUCT] First off I want to say this I am not a paid for this post. I have no affiliation with bulknutrition other then the fact that I purchase from them. I only say this because we've all seen B.S. testimonials.

Here it is:
For two weeks I weigh 220lbs and I've been taking 300mg of this stuff every day I use empty capsules and a digi scale to measure my dosage.

results:

1: I've have suffered from depression most of my life. Always feeling out of it like I just lacked SOMETHING that most others had, but never knew what. Since I've been taking this I've felt alive again no more just getting through the day only to face another. I am happy, at least as happy as one can be for no apparent reason.

2. Mentally I am no longer sluggish and unfocussed. I used to think of stuff to do, now I actually get off my ass and do it!

3. Physically. see above #2 I always wanted to exercise but never ever did, I don't know why. But now I have the energy and focus and I work out every morning and go for bike rides before i go to sleep.

4. Overall this is a great product for anyone looking to become a healthier person both mentally and physically..

Do not expect to feel all this as if you flip on a switch, just start taking it and go on with your life you will start to notice the effect as they are subtle the first couple of doses, but you will notice after a few days that life is better. And at the prices offered on this site you can afford to use it every day unlike those other crappy prepilled expensive $15-30 per month supplements which are blended with other filler materials.

Any side effects? Also, did you have any insomnia and if so, did this help? Thx

i'm glad to here that R. rosea is working out so well for ya. i use it too as part of my nootropic stack along with alcar, green tea, piracetam, and chocamine. i really like the combo, but chocamine seems to really do alot more for me than all the others. you might wanna give chocamine a try too.

I've been considering this myself...but what happens when you come off of it? You feel like you did before...or worse? I guess I'm asking if there is any risk of addiction.

Also, do the effects wear off over time? Does it take a higher dose to get the same result over time?

I use 1 gram of chocomine and 500mg rhodiola twice a day for phenomenol results. Shit just doesnt bother me anymore. Not even my asshole boss gets on my nerves! Once in a while i'll toss in 1 gram of phenibut and that just chills me out to the max!

Posted by: dmxny Apr 23 2004, 01:48 PM
I have not felt any side effect and have not exp insomonia...

As for when I come off of it there hase been a couple of days where I have not used it, and I can't say that I all of a sudden reverted to a pissed off slacker... biggrin.gif

However I look at it this way right now I'm improving my life with help from the R. Rosea. So when I stop using, Which most likely won't happen anytime soon I hope to be in a position where I'll be happy with myself...

Do I still get pissed off here and there yes... But thats life... However the stress doesn't linger...

Is Rhodiola Rosea worth including as a part of a nootropic stack? Someone else mentioned Chocamine what effects does it have and is it also potentially useful?

While I'd like to see the same laid back or generally positive mood I also don't want laziness as a result of this. If RR gave me a positive mood and did not decrease my motivation, maybe even increase my motivation, then I might be quite a bit more interested in purchasing it myself.

Sounds great. I tried some of this from another source previously, but didn't really notice much.

What doses are all of you taking?

Thanks!

Don't believe everything you read. . .

Although ppl tend to react to supps differently. I'm reading some stuff here that goes way beyond minor changes in response.
Call me crazy, but I'm not buying it. Someone that has been diagnosed with depression and suffered from it for years takes a couple spoons of rhodiola and two days later, it's all happiness & sunshine ? (No way in hell. )

HEAL !
HALLELUJA Brothers & sisters ! He can walk ! .

I tend to think these are manic feelings do to a sudden increase in neurochemistry, and most ppl will eventually come down soon after and look for a new supplement. Not to knock your guys results... But I think any results this miraculous is a placebo effect.... But whatever works right! In my opinion unless its its due to a nutrition deficiency, you should only see very slight gradual upgrades in relief from depression, or it just wont last.

Actually, I believe the validity of the story of original poster. This stuff really works, at least for me it did. I've had a lot of problems ranging from anxiety depression to insomnia, and it has helped me with all of those. Today I was so relaxed that when I closed my eyes I started drifting into bliss and then I realized that at that moment, I forgot where I was. very effective for relieving stress and as an all around relaxant

Im not very irritable like before where I'd Just go and yell at smeone for No reason. I personally like mixing chocamine with ginko biloba. Or sometimes when i need energy I mix them Both with caffeine.

I've been using the rhodiola/chocamine combo and LOVE IT.

300mg rhodiola twice a day
1g of chocamine twice a day.

SO good on my mood and wellbeing, I could take these forever.

My question is however being adaptogens, do they need to be cycled? I would love to take them permanently!

It seems at least with Rhodiola that you want to cycle it. Most people I've seen take 1-2 weeks off every 4-6 weeks of use.

I agree totally . I take one large cap packed tight an hour pre workout of bulks RR . I think with alcar its great workout focus though RR isnt for that but I love it pre workout.
I have heard some say its to calm people down but for me it kinda perks me up feel like working out .
I only take it pre workout so thats 3 days a week but even at that dose think its good stuff and I started to feel it after the first week.

Not saying the stuff isn't good; haven't tried it.
But consider the post count of every serious praise.

Placebo effect. It takes weeks and more likely months for the effects to accumulate in your system. This is good news for you, since you obviously have far more control over your brain chemistry than you previously thought.

Placebo effect my ass. I dont suffer from any depression and tried RR just to try it as I heard it was good pre workout. I felt a difference within the first week and this was thinking that it wouldnt do much if anything.
Unless you have tried it to say its a placebo effect is wrong. I dont know a single person that has tried it that didnt say they noticed something positive.

Follow up on Gyno's cogent observation.

The effect can be felt within a couple of days to a week, depending on your current receptor function and elicitation (degree of excitability response).

And yes, you must cycle the Rhodiola. Take it no longer than 3, at most four months consistantly. Then you must stop for at least a month to reset tolerance levels.

Less is more for this supplment. I would advise be cautious with dosing. Read up on recommended dosages and alter accordingly for your body mass (by ratio).

I advocate using it no longer than 3 months at time max.

The last time I used this supp, I used it for 6 months straight, and it actually made my cortisol control issues worse through over stimulation.

I'm not sure about the need for cycling chocamine, but I would imagine it would be necessary as well, due to CNS adaptation.

Thanks trouble, that was exactly what I wanted to know.

Kind of off topic, but...

I read a post that Blaze helped rid you of your last VAT. What dosage did you use?

Thanks.
