Dicana
Just out of curiosity I was wondering if anyone has some info on this product ?
Normally I'd barge in head first on anything promising more fat loss, but the price of this baby plus the active ingredient make me wonder...

Checked out the manufacturers website, lot's of marketing chatter. They're claiming a US patent on this product. Checked briefly but I certainly can't find a granted patent either for Dicana nor for Diiodothyroacetic acid(s). The plot seems to thicken as the US patent & trademark office doesnt even seem to list "thermolife" at all. Oh well .. . marketing people I suppose. . (do they always have to lay it on so thick ?)
Anyways, the compound they're advertising doesn't show up in the regular literature much either. Made a brief stroll on the usual scientific databases, and only some ancient articles on Di- & Tri- iodothyroacetic acid and some thyroxines. (mostly metabolic pathways [1]. And one hopeful article crediting this and similar compounds possible anti oxidant properties [2]) Could this be an old and repackaged thyroid activator prod ?
Can't seem to find much to support any form of metabolism enhancement, and I'm 2 tired to look for more. sad.gif

I mean , I want to believe but they're really not making it easy now are they . . . ?

Any info would be welcome . Cheers !

Yeah, it sounds as if they are trying to make their products name sound similar to Triacana (Triac/Trimax). Kind of like Legal Gear's M1P...sounds a lot like M1T.

Haha, if I am right, the company that makes dicana is a sister concern of muscletech, their product is supposed to be 100 times better than T3.

just b/c somethin has got a patent doesn't mean its a worthwhile product.

It's a pretty good product, much milder that Trimax on your thyroid.

WTF ever happened to Tricana? I was only able to buy a bottle or two before it disappeared, and that was at least 5 or 6 years ago...now suddenly there are similar products around...how do they compare?

I have tried Dicana- with no real good results with fat loss, however i tried Cellucor T7 and that is working real well for me. By the way the Cellucor T7 is supposed to contain a derivative of Tiratricol or Tricana
