Ok, after having substituted my caffeine with TR today and after two doses, one at 6 and one at 12, here is what happened. Took 1 TR, 1 Vaso, and 2 Lipo-6 at 6. Worked biceps at around 7:15. I usually break a small sweat during my biceps workout but today I started to sweat a little quicker and it took a bit for me to cool down. I was still quite warm around 10:30 and was quick to get beads of sweat on my forehead after walking around. Didn't feel anything heart or head-wise, just sweating and an inability to cool down as quickly as I usually do. I don't really mind the sweating though. Took another round of the same at 12. Had to go down to the beach at 1:30 and dig out two concrete volleyball posts, move them by rolling them and dig them in somewhere else. Besides being winded and out of breath, I still had energy and felt I could've done that all day. Feel a little light-headed right now but I think it's because I'm sitting down and taking a break right now from work. So, that's what I have felt on my first day. PS - Did not feel any of these effects, especially the sweating with the caffeine.

How are you able to tell if it wasn't the Vasopro? I mean your taking 3 diff supps there: TR, Vaso & Lipo. I mean how in the world could you distinguish between the 3 of what's doing what?
Posted by: scalato23 Apr 28 2005, 03:20 PM
I was taking the EC and lipo-6 for a month beforehand and never got an effect like I got today from the TR and the only change I made was the TR for the caffeine.

Ok, just wondering. I was just makin sure you didn't start them all at once

It's all good. I made sure that that was the only thing I changed so I could fairly review this product. Good luck man, you have any goals in mind or just going until you feel done?

Day #2 - Great workout again. Really didnt want to stop. Was planning to do HIIT today but my quad is still pretty tight so I wasn't able to go all out so I stopped before hurting it anymore. I again was sweating alot more than usual after the workout. No light headedness like yesterday and I genuinely felt great all day. I had to work on the beach today...hoofing chairs and umbrellas and didn't feel tired at anytime. This is was also the first busy day in a while so I expected to be beat by the end of the day. I wasn't and wanted to go run but alas, the quad. Meals are going great...I'm under 25-30 carbs/day, about 200 - 250 protein, and 135 fat.

How is your Blood Pressure with this stack right now? On ECA alone I went from 110/90- 150/100.
Posted by: scalato23 Apr 30 2005, 01:09 PM
I never really have checked my blood pressure so if I were to get it done and give you guys my numbers, they wouldn't really mean too much because we don't have any previous numbers for me without any stacking. I'm sorry about this but I'm reporting everything else. Middle of Day #3 - Nice workout, sweating wasn't bad at all today. Barely broke one was a matter of fact. I feel somewhat jittery today and like I need to go for a run and get rid of some of this energy. I feel this is due to the fact that it is raining like crazy and I am not able to be walking around the hotel and checking everything as much as I usually do. I haven't had an outlet for my energy as I usually do. So far, I can really feel the effects when it kicks in and I know it's only the middle of day 3 but I am enjoying this product. Will report later today and will post my nutrient info from the past 2 days if you'd guys like.

Day #4 - Sunday - Decided to take a complete day off from the gym, running, and diet (well, I didn't go crazy but man was it good to have a bun with the burger). I did take 1 TR and 2 lipo in the morning and another this late afternoon. Could definitely feel it kicking in and it just gave me a general overall feeling of being ready for whatever. My quad should be completely healed so looking forward to some HIIT tomorrow. How's it going on your end J1Q?
Posted by: scalato23 May 1 2005, 06:59 PM
My average nutrient uptake over the 4 days has been: Cals - 2024 Fat - 112.3 Carbs - 34.4 Protein - 194.7 My PWO shake is not included in those figures. Here is that info though: Cals - 596 Fat - 4 Carbs - 84 Protein - 50

Alright, first real day of HIIT with TR. My legs and energy felt great but it seemed like my heart was going to pump itself out of my chest and keep on pumping down the road ahead of me. I almost got sick after the first couple of sprints but kept pressing on and didn't have any problems. My girl also just made me walk a couple of miles with her and I told her that I felt like doing a couple more (I didn't though). Again, I'm really enjoying this product and will be weighing myself in a couple of days at the 1 week mark. I'm already noticing that my belt is able to be put on me a little tighter than usual which is always a good sign. SO, all in all, good things to report and no negative sides.

I just starting doing sprints again yesterday, so I know exactly how you feel Glad to hear things are going well for you. |

Well, I joined my old gym yesterday as the hotel just wasn't "cutting" it. Ha, I crack myself up. Anyway, I thought my quad was totally healed but after the HIIT the other day it felt a lil gimpy. So, I'll be using the bike and elliptical for a couple sessions and see how that feels. Also, will be able to do more complete workouts now as well and will have more to report.
Posted by: scalato23 May 4 2005, 08:18 AM
Just got back from the gym and man do I feel great. 7.5 min. mile on the tread as a warmup 10 mins. on the elliptical (30 sec. "sprints" and 30 sec. "jog") 5 minutes high level on the recumbent bike 5 minute cooldown on the tread various ab-work for 20 -25 minutes I feel great, not tired at all, and really wanted to stay and do more but I didn't want to overdo it. That's the only thing lately, I feel like I can do more but need to remember not to go into overkill mode. Also, I do think some of this feeling today was that it was the first day back in the gym and noone was there. I love it when it's like that for cardio day. Anyway, weigh in will be tonight or tomorrow morning.

Okay folks, weighed myself this morning and ...........lost 3 pounds in the first week of using TR. As I've been mentioning this first week, I feel great, lots of energy, lots of extra sweat, no side effects so with my training, it seems to be helping me out. Chest workout today and started using the Max-Ot principle. I feel good and wanted to lift a lot longer and so much more BUT, gotta follow the guide if you want it to be successful right? Anyway, gonna try and get my bf% done the next couple of days just for shits & giggles. Also, I've never ever ever been able to do pull-ups/chin-ups but today on the way out of the gym was able to do 8. I have no idea where it came from but I said, what the hell, let's see if I can do one. To my surprise, they came fairly easy. Can't wait to actually start incorporating those into the workouts.

Sorry I missed posting yesterday but didn't really have time. Had my HIIT workout in the morning and added a few sessions of jumping rope after the sprints. Whew, what a workout!!! I think I might start cutting the sprints down and adding more elliptical and rope time. I feel I get more out of those two than the sprints. Also worked bis and tris last night using the Max-ot method and I loved it. Less time, more weight, and shit am I sore today!!! Still getting the same feeling from the TR. The sweat is still there during the workout but I think my body has gotten accustomed to it and is starting to cool down a little bit quicker/easier post-workout. Diet is still pretty much the same. I don't alter it too much. Just kind of switch the meats around daily.

Good log, will be curious how your results are after 2-3 weeks
Posted by: scalato23 May 7 2005, 04:03 PM
Thanks. Me too as I'm hoping this will be it for me "cutting" and can go back to maintenance soon. My lifts have not been dropping, a few are still going up a bit so it seems like I'm losing mostly fat. Tomorrow is an off day from everything. I might cheat a little bit but am hoping to stay around my usual numbers.

Monday morning workout - did cardio. 15 minutes at 8.0 and 1.0 incline on the treadmill. Did 5 minutes on level 4 elliptical and 6 30 second intervals with a jump rope. Worked up quite a damn sweat but damn it feels great to start Monday off like that. Anyone else agree? Also, worked legs this morning afterwards for the hell of it. Did 3 sets of 6 with leg presses and calf raises. I feel absolutely great especially afer cheating a little bit yesterday. Had breakfast out with gf's mom (at at Denny's and got the ultimate omelette and refrained from the hash browns). AND it was her uncle's b-day so I caved and had a small piece of cake and a little bit of ice cream. I cheated but just a little. Enough to enjoy it but not too much to where I felt like crap for cheating. Anyway, will be weighing in the next chance I get. Have a good one.

Tuesday morning - No cardio this morning BUT I had to fire one of our beach guys yesterday so, I'll be setting up our beach this morning which is a little cardio in and of itself. Worked bis and tris today and man did I feel great. Went up on a couple different exercises which is always a good thing. Starting to get the nice veins in the bicep and the thick one right in front of the shoulder. Woo Hoo. Didn't really sweat that much today even though it's humid as hell here this morning. Think my body has adjusted somewhat to that. Those little jitters and amped feelings I experienced the first couple of days have completely gone away. Haven't experienced those in quite a while. Just thought I should mention that. Have a good one.
Posted by: scalato23 May 10 2005, 04:54 PM
Well, I worked the beach today and had to break down quickly and early today due to rain. I took a couple TR around 12ish and broke the beach down around 2. While I was running around and trying to get everything put away (I was in a pretty good sprint here and there), I noticed I felt a little dizzy/lightheaded. I was in the shade most of the day and at that time it was cloudy as well. So, I can't really think it was the heat that did it. In addition, the sweat came quickly and heavy as well. Just wanted to share that observation with you as this was not during a workout or anything and 2 hours after taking it.
Posted by: J1Q May 11 2005, 06:15 PM
I hear ya man. I can't believe how much i sweat on this stuff, Unbelievable. a couple hours after i take it, i can just be sitting in the chair sweating. No complaints though, i guess it's doing it's job. I would certainly recommend it, and plan on buying another bottle and stacking it with Heat or Scorch later on in the summer. Keep up the good work man

Sorry for the lack of posts gentlemen but work has been crazy the past few days AND my folks came into town yesterday. But, I have not stopped working out. The cardio and lifting are all going well. I have cut back on the intensity of the cardio as my quad has been acting up again but ALL my lifts have beein improving!!! I've been a little under the weather but am only taking medicine before bed so it wont interfere with anything else. If I wasn't doing the review I'd probably wait a few days to resume the TR but trying to be faithful to the test. I've also been drinking a cup of OJ/day for vitamin c so, my sugar intake has risen slightly. That's about it. Off to the gym.

Monday workout: Did 10 minutes on the tread at 8.0 and 1.0 incline. My legs are still quite sore from my leg workout on Saturday. Did the usual jump rope and stair master as well. To borrow a phrase from J1Q, I "sweat like a stuck pig." Proceeded to do shoulders today and I felt really really good this morning. Since yesterday was an off day I only took 1 dose of TR in the morning and then again this morning. Not sure if that had anything to do with it. I hate doing shoulders but today felt like I wanted to do them for another hour!!! Definite increase in weights on all shoulder exercises this morning. Haven't weighed myself lately but as J1Q said, I think I'm still losing weight but not as quickly as with an EC and lipo-6 stack. I would probably recommend this for those that are trying to maybe lose those last few pounds and who aren't in a huge rush to lose 20 pounds in 2 months. Those people are crazy to begin with but this is not for them. This is good for controlled, know-what-you're-doing, no muscle loss, fat loss product.
Posted by: J1Q May 16 2005, 08:47 AM
couldn't agree with your write up more Scalato. I do believe TR is more for a controlled fat-loss, versus rapid weight loss. I have been most impressed with the muscle i have kept while loosing fat. I also love the factthat my lungs feel so light and crisp when i do intense cardio. That's probably the one thing thats stands out most to me other than sweating so much as well. Good log Scalato, keep it up.
Posted by: scalato23 May 16 2005, 04:56 PM
I haven't had a chance to really notice the light lung feeling. Maybe on Wed. I'll do a more extended run, with a quicker pace and see if I notice anything. Will let you know.
Posted by: scalato23 May 18 2005, 07:56 AM
Didn't really notice any"lightness" in the lungs but then again I wasn't sprinting for 2 miles like you J1Q
Posted by: scalato23 May 19 2005, 05:13 PM
Chest day this morning and felt grea the entire time. Went up a bit on incline and decline dumbell presses today as well. Got off of wrk early today and I have so much energy I want to go back to the gym because I feel great and dont have anything else to do. Aaaargh, but I dont want to overtrain. I'm dying here
Posted by: scalato23 May 21 2005, 07:58 AM
And a good Saturday to you all. Had a great bi/tri workout today. Added reverse ez bar curl to the workout today and I must say, I enjoy them. Anywa, energy level still there. The gym was quite cool this morning so there wasn't as much sweating as usual, plus I didn't run. I know, I know, I haven't weighed myself in a while but as I said before, don't think my #'s have changed too much because of the way my lifting is going. I think I may have dropped another 2 or 3 though. Right along with J1Q's log. It's nice to see that two different people, body types, and workout styles are reporting pretty much the same thing on 1 product. That bodes well for others who are wondering if it's effects will be the same for them.
Posted by: J1Q May 21 2005, 08:29 AM
Nice log Scalato. I did my Bi's/Tri's lastnight after work and it was hot. And, as i reported i am now up to 2 capsules 3 times/daily and i was sweating so much it looked like i had just taken a shower. I am very anxious to see, how my runs and lifts go after i get off TR. Once again, great log Scalato.

Man do I love Monday workouts (I take Sundays off). My warm-up run and jump rope felt great and quite easy. Did chest today and went up more on my dumbell presses. Didn't do flat barbell press and was able to lift a bit more on everything else. Nothing really knew to report about the effects of TR. However, yesterday was the first morning and afternoon that I didn't take it all (long story) and I developed quite a headache. Water, food, nap, etc. wouldn't help it. I ended up being able to take it around 4 and the headache went away. Coincidence? Just wanted to share. Also, was thinking about maintaining after the TR but I'm starting to see deep cuts and striations so I'm thinking about doing another stack. Anyone else have a product they'd like me to test? j/k
Posted by: scalato23 May 25 2005, 11:27 PM
Sorry about not posting yesterday or this morning. Nothing major to report except that yesterday's workout felt like it sucked. I was able to do everything I usually do (bis/tris) but just wasn't really into it I guess. I guess we're all do for a workout like that time to time, it's just this is the first one in a couple of months. Oh well. Workout this morning went much better. Shoulders and some cardio. i know, i know, bis and shoulder back-back days, not so much but it had to be done. Have a busy weekend this weekend at the hotel with Memorial Day and all so I wanted to be sure to get at least everything in. Supposed to go for chest tomorrow but we'll see. Still a little sore from monday's workout. Might go with legs instead and do some good deep cardio. Will let you know. Also, have been contemplating going for more cutting with SD. I wouldn't mind losing a bit more to get deeper cuts and show off the striations and veins. Also, wouldn't mind maintaining for a couple weeks and s l o w l y build up to an extremely clean bulking phase with SD. Any thoughts?

Well, I finished the TR today My lifts conitnued to go up just about every workout and my body composition has drastically changed. As I have been saying throughout, I may have lost more in actual number but feel and look as though I have added a bit of muscle. Only side I ever noticed was the sweating during cardio and some workouts. Also, for the first 2 weeks, I conitnued to sweat after my shower (about 20 minutes after my workout was done). It was as if my body wasn't able to cool itself down as quickly as usual. But, that was the only side I noticed. All in all, I think it is a good product if: - your diet is in check - your workout program is sound - looking to lose fat AND retain muscle (very impressed with this) - you want to lose weight over time and not a load in 2 weeks - you've done your research and are committed - relying on it as a supplement and not a quick fix Thank you Derek for the opportunity to review this product. I plan on taking a couple weeks off of supplements except for pwo shakes, cee, and fish oil. Want my body to do what it needs to do normally. I plan on lifting regularly and doing cardio 3 times week. Meanwhile, I will continue to reearch SD as a cutter and a bulker and see where I want to go from there. Regardless, I will do another review. I am leaning a little towards a strict, clean bulk. Any input would be appreciated. You can pm me if you'd like. Thank you to all those who've read and kept up with this read.

Ok, I have noticed another side effect, if you will. Last Sunday I was unable to take my first two doses of TR and had a terrible headache all day. Wasn't sure what to attribute it to. Well, today was my first day off TR and you guessed it. Another terrible headache. So, my advice, is to not stop it cold turkey. Wind down the doses the last week and a half. Hope this helps.
