Would taking ZMA and Tribulus at the same time be a bad idea?

taking both at the same time would not be bad at all. both are natural test boosters, and zma does help most people sleep. there is even a product that already has these combined zma-t, you can take one, or the other or both, what ever you want to do

Yeah, that product is called Forza-T by Instone. It's got 300 mgs. of 6OXO as well. That's probably not a bad PCT supplement. But if you're going to go the tribulis route, I've heard some great things about Vitrex.

I actually take one called ZMA-T by Muscle Link, not too expensive either.

B6 10.5mg
Magnesium Apspartate 450mg
Zinc Aspartate 30mg
Tribulus Extract 40 Saponis 750mg
Muira Puma 250mg

There appears to be some differences in a number of the ZMA products out there, the most obvious of which is that some products consist of a mix of zinc and magnesium, and others "zinc magnesium aspartate".

Chemically, what does this mean? Does this effect solubility or bioavailability?

zinc, magnesium, and calcium all interfere with the absorption of each other.

ZMA doesnt raise test if you dont have deficiencies in any of the components, which one probably wouldn't have if you were taking a multivitamin.

tribulus is in no way related to ZMA, at all, except that it is purported to boost test. trib has better effects on sex drive than test, and it has not really been shown to actually be a test booster.

1fast ZMA is cheap, so it's worth adding if you think you might be deficient, just take before bed. Most trib products I've tried weren't any good, but Vitrex has worked for me. It boosts sex drive, I double dose though, 6 in the morning and 6 before bed.

Is ZMA like Ph's where you should be over a certain age to take? And does it make you sleepy, or just more comfortable during sleep?

ZMA isn't harsh enough to have any adverse effects on a younger aged individual.

working to failure is the only failure that will make you succeed

It's fine to use at any age. Althought, it turned me into a zit farmer when I took it at 16.

Most people report ZMA makes them sleep deeper but does not make them sleepy.

Would Tribulus or ZMA cause a false positive for a drug test or interfere in any way that would cause me to fail.... Also supplementing Glutamine, creatine, Green Tea Exract, Chromium, Potassium - I am cutting right now so diet is pretty low in calories 50/50 carbs/protein.. some fats

Test is in a week or two.... considering going off everything

Please advise

Absolutely not. None of those supplements are going to show up on any drug test.

i know none of these would show up specifically...cuz no piss test tests for stuff like that... but any increase in the testosterone in my urine or creatine content could hold me up in the interview process which I cant afford....

There is no proof of a statistically significant rise in T levels from the ZMA or the Trib. Even if there were, the drug tests indicate positives where T levels are well beyond the normal ranges. Even assuming that your T levels were at the very top of the range and you took ZMA and Trib, it still wouldn't make a damn difference.

Stop worrying. Most drug tests are not designed to measure T levels anyhow. Concentrate on getting the job/interviewing rather than the drug test.

Has anyone seen positive results in strength and/or size while taking ZMA?

Is ZMA supposed to raise T levels?

dont waste your time/money; stick to a good basic whey/creatine combo and get your training and diet in order for a good, solid foundation.

That's exactly how it effects me. It doesnt really make me sleepy. If I take it and for some reason end up not going to bed for a couple hours, I am just fine. No drowsy feelings. But when I do fall asleep I feel like I sleep deeper/better.

So the question is not: Why start off on such a path? You have already started off. You did so with the first beat of your heart. The question is: Do I wish to walk this path consciously or unconsciously? With awareness or lack of awareness? As the cause of my experience, or at the effect of it?
