Some people need to gain fat or they won't be gaining any muscle either at some point. That's what weightgain powders are for. If you don't want to put on any fat then I'd recommend a sugar-free meal supplement like Prolab's Lean Mass Matrix as opposed to a weightgainer.

I'm gonna have to disagree here. If you take a look at the nutritional breakdown, and ingredients in N-Large....you'll see it has quality calories. It does have a lot of carbs, but not alot of sugars. Hopefully you know the difference between complex carbs and simple sugars. It has a total of 89 grams of carbs, 66 being complex carbs (maltodextrin), and the remaining 23 are simple sugars (fructose). It even has 4 grams of fiber in it, which isn't common in the other brands listed in this thread.

ok there are better things out there that you can take thats healthier then that. i took enlarge when i didn't know better. yeah i gain weight alot of fat. you better off eating right and bulking up on food and protein shakes. and EFAs . it will be better in the long run. trust me. if you need added caloreis in protein shake, add a bannana, milk 2%, some natty Peanut Buttter. Dextrose
