That's bullshit. Driving drunk and kill a man, and only get 30 days? My friend did the same thing and had an 18 month sentence and 2 years on probation. Bunch of bullshit if you ask me.

Yeah, I read an article that mentioned he had reached a "financial settlement" w/ the victim's family. I supposed those who don't have settlement money don't get off quite so easy.

To Stallworth's credit he did the right thing after doing something increadibly stupid. He owned up to everything he did and didn't try to do anything else any more stupid. He'll have house arrest for the next couple years as well with the ability to still play football which we'll see what the league does with that. I'm sure he'll not be playing for a while. Still what a stupid thing to do.

The NFL cracks me up. Do a little juice or smoke a little dope and you're outta here, buddy! But, drive around drunk and kill a man... eh, we'll think about it.

Roger Goodel likes to wait and see what the court system does before he drops the hammer on anybody. In real life though the average man would be fired from their job in a heartbeat.

smoke pot? YOU CRIMINAL SCUMBAG P.O.S.!!!!
get crunked and mow someone down in yo 2005 bentley.... thats another story
I believe he lost his license for life, too...
He didn't exactly mow the guy down, he was driving home and a guy ran out on to the road out of now where and Stallworth tried to avoid him but couldn't. He stopped, called 911 and tried to help. It was a tragic accident, it's not quite the same as a guy weaving and hitting someone after running a red light.

He's now suspended indefinitely by the NFL. That can sometimes only last few games, but could be a whole lot longer, too. I think the league wants to set an example that you're gonna lose a lotta money if you mess around. I think it's a positive step, but he still went way too easy on Belichick.

Plus Stallworth has to live with knowing he cuased someone's death. I don't think Stallworth got off lite, but he didn't get the max either. He has two years house arrest, and can only leave to work. The NFL might suspend him a whole year which means he'll essentially serve atleast two years without ever leaving his home. It isn't prison, but it sure isn't freedom.
