Having never had problems in the past, I've been stung by customs with my last 2 orders. It makes buying from bulknutritin untenable - especially the blanket $16 handling fee Royal mail put on top of the 17.5% Tax the customs add, no matter what size the order!

Does anyone have any experience of using FedEx and whether it's less likely to be pulled by customs?

Last time I had to pay those fees it felt like it's more than 17.5%

can the contents be labelled as a gift?? that way we dont have to pay customs duties!! aslo anyone have an idea of how much custom duties i'd have to pay on £110s worth of stuff???

i dont think they'll label them as gifts, and for £110 i think the customs will be £19.25..thats 17.5% of £110 anyway..i just ordered about £100s worth..hopefully i dont get taxed!..

it would be roughly 20 quid, unfortunatly the government we have in the UK enjoy stinging us with taxes, thus companies up thier handling fee's to cover thier own personal costs.
