Sorry CC to steal the baseball thread but its a new season!

Liriano's back on the mound after Tommy John surgery and reports say he's doing awesome. Hopefully an up and coming replacement for Santana. Twins have some great talent this year, just need to stay consistent.

never followed preseason in my life. April is when i start it up. I do know Wong got lit up though.

How church n the 2B doing after the collision for the mets?

No, maybe I can't win. Maybe the only thing I can do is just take everything he's got. But to beat me, he's going to have to kill me. And to kill me, he's gonna have to have the heart to stand in front of me. And to do that, he's got to be willing to die himself. I don't know if he's ready to do that. I don't know.

Dunno. I bet WillP would know. I usually don't follow preseason either but I've been interested to see how the newbs are doing after the Santana trade.

Oh yeah thats true. Liriano will be nice for you guys. I liked him his rookie year. He wont replace santana now, especially since Santana is in the weaker league. He'll be like Zues throwin down some lighting bolts.

Yeah he's still got lots of refining to do but he's probably got the most potential of any new pitcher right now. He had to change his delivery after his surgery so hopefully he can get dialed in.

I read a column about it last week. I can't find it now and can't get into any gambling websites here at work otherwise I'd post the odds.

If you can find the WS odds post them here.

The D-Backs were 22-1 which the guy wrote was a good pick. Mets were 4-1.

Was it a NY newspaper? Why would the Mets be a much better odds winner. They won less games last year then the D-Backs, and the Snakes added another Cy Young candidate.

No it was online on Yahoo in the MLB section of sports. Don't know who the guy was.

Tigers were 5-1.
