Looking for a magazine with actual BB research (i.e. biofeedback w/ exercises, supp reviews, etc.). Don't follow the sport of BB, don't care for reviews. All magazines I've come across either have BB bios and pictorials w/ 5 page supp "reviews" which are really just ads of sponsors, or mags that have very little to do w/ serious BB and are concerned w/ other male issues.
Picked up a Men's Health the other day, thinking it would have some interesting natural supp research info, turned out to be a friggin" GQ mag with "ways to reduce stress" and "how to turn on a woman." WTF! dry.gif

None of the print mags are anything to write home about.

I agree with Dave. Muscular Development is my favorite. I've been reading BB mags for years and MD is by far my favorite. Of course there's always going to be those supp ads in any magazine you read, but once you get past all that there's some pretty good information in there you could benefit from. MD is the only magazine that I actually learn something new every time I read a new issue. Try it out and see for yourself.

Muscle & Fitness is by far the best publication on the newsstands, and I'm not just saying that because they published my "Iron Cardio" article! Also, forget that I worked for Weider Publications for over four years. laugh.gif

They have the best staff, including Science Editor Jim Stoppani, PhD, who is a close friend of mine and probably the most well-rounded, knowledgable and passionate scientist in the muscle-building industry. They also have the least biased editorial (supplement driven) of any publication.

I've said this many times, but those who mock Muscle & Fitness probably have not read it lately. I credit Muscle & Fitness and FLEX for getting me hooked on this wonderful lifestyle of being healthy and fit.

Actually, when Joe first started Your Physique in 1939, it was to promote fitness, his passion. We wouldn't be gabbing about training and supplementation if it wasn't for Joe Weider and his dream.

The pimping of supplements came later. wink.gif

There is a section called "The Edge" in Muscle & Fitness and a section called "Gym Bag" in FLEX that may have what you're looking for.
