Ok guys, im 6'2", 170lbs. I play football (lift for it 3 days a week) and run a mile or 2 daily. I've been doing the normal push-up sit-up routine to tone, but no matter what i do i can't get rid of this layer of fat on my chest and abs. I am currently taking Syntha-6 for protein, but i want something safe for me to take that will help me burn that crap off and help me get that 6-pack. Im only 16 so is there anything safe for me to take that will get the job done?

6'2" @ 170lbs and you don't have a six pack? I'd not worry about the fat burners and do a wider variety of ab workouts. crunches, leg lifts, "rocky" sit ups, put your legs on a chair or bench so your femurs are at a 90 degree angle with the floor and have your back on the floor and do some crunches and sit ups from there. Do abs like every other day if you want to improve them quickly (some people will say to train them less... i prefer to do them more). lying on a decline bench and do sit ups with a plate on your chest.

I wouldn't think you need to worry about burning fat at your size and weight.
you are toooo young to be taking stimulants or steroidal compounds at your age, but if you are HELL bent on it and going to take something anyways i'd drink 2 cups of coffee before doing abs and take 6 oxo. NOTHING steroidal, but a safe, mild anti E wouldn't be tooooo bad of an idea. NOTHING stronger than 6 oxo, i wouldn't even say ATD. No-xplode is a good pre workout drink

ok

yeah i do abs everyday, and i eat healthy, lots of water. Ive been doin it for about 2 months now. if i lift up my arms i can see my obliques and everything toned already, i jsut have the loose chest and layer on the front of my abs.

and will that Syntha-6 have any bad effects if im trying to get a 6-pack?

no....... 2 months? give it time dude, 2 months isn't a long time. diet, exercise--not thermogenics.

people over estimate what they can do in a couple months and under estimate what they can do in 6mo-1yr.

your chest is loose because it needs muscle under the skin. it's probably skin, not "baby" fat.

i thought if i got my pecs bigger in the weight room, that it would somehow help the fat disappear, but now i just have muscular pecs covered by that same layer of fat, which makes my nipples look bigger and that PISSES ME OFF, not exactly something to show off to my girlfriend

Increase the intensity...super sets, tri sets, giant sets, drop sets, short rest periods between sets (45 seconds), ect....up the intensity and eat very clean, small, frequent portions to drop fat.

DO NOT DEMAND WHAT YOU CAN NOT TAKE BY FORCE!

at your height and weight, the last thing i would be doing is trying to loose more weight.. Lifting weights burns fat too! You basically need to get some muscle under that thin layer of 'baby fat' so you have something to show though it!.

I have the same problem as you dude.. I have trouble getting a 6 pack, but just keep hitting up the ab workouts and soon enough!

yeah i find the most tried and true method for burning fat in an area is to increase the reps in your sets. i would say run your mile or two directly before lifting and then move into your chest workouts doing like 3 sets of 20 reps. for abs i would say try alternating weight training your abs (i.e. crunches with a plate) and more endurance type ab workouts (i.e. decline situps in sets of 60-75)
hope this helps
