I thought this would help people when trying to figure out their macro partitioning for their daily caloric intake.
GD
---------------
http://www.sfusd.edu/schwww/sch634/Webpage.../CalConver.htmlYou must use the following conversion factors (CF) to change grams into calories:
Fat - 9 Calories / gram
Protein - 4 Calories / gram
Carbohydrates - 4 Calories / gram

So your total calories for that meal is:
1440 F
168 P
+ 312 C
= 1920
So your F/P/C % ratio is: 75% / 09% / 16%
THINGS TO REMEMBER:
1. Show complete calc - no shortcuts!
2. Always show where an indentity cancels out to 1(a whole).
3. Use the right CF for the right
energy source.
