I thought this would help people when trying to figure out their macro partitioning for their daily caloric intake.

You must use the following conversion factors (CF) to change grams into calories:

Fat - 9 Calories / gram

Protein - 4 Calories / gram

Carbohydrates - 4 Calories / gram

So your total calories for that meal is:
1440 F
168 P
+ 312 C
= 1920

So your F/P/C % ratio is: 75% / 09% / 16%

THINGS TO REMEMBER:

1. Show complete calc - no shortcuts!
2. Always show where an indentity cancels out to 1(a whole).
3. Use the right CF for the right energy source.
