ive taken a supplement that had both in (forget the name), but they work pretty well stacked together, i like to throw some melatonin in once a while as well to get me knocked out faster

3 grams of gaba is pointless cause it doesn't cross the blood/brain barrier and that's why you get that head rush. It's a terrible feeling. I wouldn't go reccomending high dosages like that.

zma and 5-htp go well cause the b-6 in the zma helps the 5-htp work better.
