Which do you guys think is better to mix protien shakes with milk or water?

Milk will add a slower acting casien, if your taking plain whey then a good idea. Post workout I like 1/2 water 1/2 juice and I add some dextrose also. The added simple carbs help replace what you lost during workout, spike insulin, and help protein absorbtion.

Also, when taking in a shitload of protein and supps u want to remember to drink tons of water anyway to help flush the kidneys.

thanks for all of your opinions, I also like mine with milk, but was concerned about the 11 grams of sugar per serving of the type of milk I drink, which is maola 2%.

Offseason:

1/2 Whole Milk
1/2 Water

Inseason:

1/2 1% or Skim
1/2 Water

My Chol numbers were getting high which is why I initially started the 1/2 water.
I find I can drink more of these each day if there is some milk like consistency to it.

I do the same when I just HAVE to have some sort of fruit juice.

Plus instead of more expensive mrps I use a low sugar carnation like meal replacement. They mix better with some milk instead of just plane water.

I use Biotest Surge after workouts and that is the only post workout drink that I have tried that mixes well with just water.

mix with water immediately after workout so there is pure fast acting whey . Any other time using whey mix with milk to slow down absorption.

I drink five a day, three whey protein concentrate in water mixed with a spoon, two whey and casein blended in milk.
