Hey Guys,

I was looking into taking the liquid form of BCAA. I just recently picked up a bottle of Vitamin Shoppe's BodyTech Amino Acid Complex. How would this compare to the pill form, as far as absorbtion etc. I was trying to cut down on my pill intake. I normally take bcaa's before and after my workout. The bottle says just after my workout?

I'm thinking your amino liquid is more of an EAA supplements (which contains the 3 BCAAs) rather than just a BCAA supplement.

The liquid will be absorbed more quickly than the pills obviously.

I would take a serving before, after, and possibly during your workout if you wish.

In the future, a much more cost effective BCAA supplement would to simpy buy BCAA powder or a product like Xtend. You'll be cutting down on the pills this way and getting a higher quality, cheaper product.
