Is that the VPX? I didn't really like that too much...pretty grainy. I tried evopro and that stuff seems pretty good But I'm always up for something new

caseins def taste different. haha i've tried ultra peptide and ON choc and van casein. I'd say the ultra peptide was the best, mixability and taste, however, the ON Van casein wasesn't to bad, third place would be ON choc casein(taste kinda sucked), which I found wierd becuase I like their choc whey. One last note, ultra peptide is not all casein, there is some WPI, and milk isolate in there too. I thought ultra peptid worked a lil better for me tho. * one last note -- None of them taste great*

As rich, I also consume Cytosport's EvoPro before bed. It has a nice blend of protein sources... EvoPro ingredient list - Micellar alpha and beta caseins and caseinates, whey protein isolate, milk protein isolate, glutamine peptides, l-glutamine, cocoa powder, purified bovine colostrum extract, l-taurine, leanlipids trans fat free lipid complex, natural and artificial flavors, maltodextrin, cellulose gum, xanthan gum, carrageenan, acesulfame potassium, sucralose.

Are you guys only sleeping an hour or two at a time? If so, then maybe Casein is a good idea. Otherwise its a waste of money, you might as well get a cheaper source of protein before bed. Whey might digest and hit your system real quick, but Casein is not so much slower that it is going to stay with you even for a significant portion of the night. If you are that concerned about starving your body, I would mix up some BCAA's in water, put it next to your bed and have a sip every time you wake up in the middle of the night.

As far as the EvoPro goes...
Shake well, young Skywalker. |
You know you like hand butter. Actually my hand came out all nasty. All dusty and shit. That stuff sticks to you. Once I run out of Mega Milk in about a week I'll start the EvoPro.

Do you have proof of this? I'd like to see it.

http://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/anthony8.htmThat article agrees with casein before bed, because it "clumps" when it comes into contact with stomach acid. BUT, anybody that knows anything about digestion knows that even though it digests slower, it is going to be long gone from adding aminos to your system before you wake up, unless of course you are only sleeping a couple hours at a time.

I know about casein. The article says it's great to take before bedtime. It doesn't say that it stops "working" after 2 or 3 hours. That's the proof I want to see. Since I'm not a digestion expert.
